Finding a region to test the complete Health Gain online guide

During my internship at Tamarack Ltd (Health Gain Project, Leader of Work Package 3), one of my tasks has been to find a European Region to volunteer to test the Health Gain online guide and to use it to assess a Structural Funds financed project in a non-health sector

Here's the problem. Although the Health Gains website and online guide is great, it contains a lot of information. This means that it can be difficult to know where to start looking when you just want to understand the basics of the project to begin with.

My name is Anna Beling, and will be joining the Health Gain team during my internship with Tamarack Ltd.

I completed my BSc in European Public Health at Maastricht University in the Netherlands in 2011, and I am currently working to attain a Master of Science in European Public Health.

Healthgain promoted at Conference on Results of EU Public Health Programmes

The Healthgain project and the upcoming capacity building workshops were promoted at a major conference organised by DG SANCO in Brussels on 3 May 2012. The theme of the event was the results of the EU Public Health Programmes and perspectives for the future.

Cohesion policy, 2014-2020 - an update

Cohesion Policy seeks to make all regions more economically competitive, boosting employment and skills, and creating more and better jobs by strengthening their economic, social and territorial cohesion. Cohesion Policy co-finances around 50-70% of a project's costs and has supported about two million projects in 271 regions across the European Union.
